The Player-versus-Player Battling Guide
--------

Chapter 1: Starting a Battle
Here's how to start a battle with another player:

1. Go to the user's profile page (click his/her name on most pages) and click the "Battle" button to send out a battle request.
2. Wait for the user to accept the battle request.
3. Prepare yourself by making sure your HP is full, your best equipment is equipped, your spells have been activated, and your favorite monster is active.
4. When you're ready, go to the Battles page and click the "Start Battle" button.
5. Once both users have clicked the "Start Battle" button, the battle will take place.

Chapter 2: Wagers
You can place wagers on battles.

For example, you can set a wager where if you lose, you give the other player 15 gold, but if he loses, he has to give you a Small Healing Potion.

Here's how:
1. Start a trade with the player in addition to the battle itself.
2. Add whichever gold/items/monsters you're willing to give away if you lose, and have the other player do the same.
3. Both of you must vote to Enable the Battle Wager option, and it will be enabled.
4. Lock the trade, but you do not need to accept the trade. Just don't forget to lock it, or else the battling system won't use the wager. You should always lock the trade before you click the "Start Battle" button to prevent any chance of cheating.
5. Review the trade and make sure everything is correct. The winner of the battle will get everything offered by both players.
6. Send a battle request and battle the other player as you normally would.

After the battle, all of the loser's trade offerings will go to the winner, and the winner will get to keep his/her own trade offerings as well.

Note: As with normal trades, make sure you don't lose/sell any gold/items/monsters between the time you offer them and the time the battle begins, otherwise the battle will fail due to missing wagers (this is a security feature to make sure nobody gets scammed).

Chapter 3: Tournaments
At some point in time, tournaments will be held.

When this happens, battles will be automatically handled at specific points in time. This means that if you're not paying attention to when you're scheduled to fight, you can be playing the game, and bam!, a battle pops up on your screen. So it's important to find out when you're scheduled to fight, and make sure you're in top condition when that time comes.

You're also responsible for making sure you heal yourself inbetween matches, so even though the battles are handled automatically, you should still make an effort to be online during the time of the actual tournament (especially if the matches are only separated by a few minutes each).
