Q. Is this game free?
A. Yes! The game is 100% free.
Q. What features set this game apart from other web-based games?
A. Catching monsters is one of my personal favorite features of the game. There are also various tradeskills, like Mining and Smithing (which allow you to create weapons and armor), and there are many quests, too.
Catching Monsters
Q. Can I catch monsters in this game?
A. Yes! Most monsters in the game can be caught, bosses cannot usually be caught (though even a few of them CAN be..).
Q. Which classes can catch monsters?
A. All of them!
Q. Can I buy/sell/trade monsters?
A. Yes. You can offer monsters alongside items and gold in your trades with other players. You can also find various NPC-run shops which sell monsters.
Q. How many monsters can I keep at a time?
A. You can have up to 10 monsters total at any given time. If you're running out of space, you can release some or trade them to other players.
Q. How much is a monster worth in a trade?
A. Monsters' values rely not only on their species, but also on their Natures and stats (both of which are determined randomly). For example, if you notice that your Kirbulite has an extremely high Defense stat compared to its other stats, it could be extremely rare and valuable.
The Magic System
Q. How does it work?
A. Magic is cast automatically in the game if you have a spell activated. In other words, you must Activate your combat spells BEFORE you enter battle, and they will be cast automatically throughout the battle. For more information, read the Magic Guide.
Q. What types of spells are there?
A. Most spells help you in battle in one way or another. Some spells deal direct damage to the enemy, while some spells will increase your melee attack damage. Some spells can even prevent the enemy from attacking!
Player-versus-Player Combat
Q. Can I battle with other players?
A. Yes, you can, and you can even set wagers so that the loser has to give the winner prizes. See the Player-versus-Player Battling Guide for more information.
